Resolution Receiving Ceremony

City Council awarded KTCC for promoting harmonious relationships among culturally diverse groups within the community.

Knoxville Turkish Cultural Center was honored on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the city council meeting with City Resolution () which recognized Knoxville Turkish Cultural Center for its successful organization at the 2nd Annual Dialogue Dinner entitled "Who's my neighbor? Resolution () was sponsored by City Council Robert Frost and Chris Woodhull. In his remarks at the meeting, Alp U. Levent, president of Knoxville Turkish Cultural Center (and also Society of Universal Dialogue), articulated the great honor of the Resolution and expressed his deep appreciation on behalf of KTCC.
