We have been holding tutoring sessions for Turkish and Ahiskan Turkish children every weekend for the last two years. Each and every tutoring service is offered free of charge by the SUD volunteers.

In each of these sessions, the SUD volunteers helped out each child in his/her homework from the school subjects and gave additional assistance and teaching sessions in case it’s needed.

Since, there is a quiet large Ahiskan Turkish community in Bowling Green, the tutoring for Ahiskan Turkish children classes were hold in the International Center of Bowling Green. We talked to International Center to let us use their classes for holding such tutoring sessions and they gladly helped us out on this matter. They didn’t charge us any fee for using their classrooms. We have been renting classrooms in the Community Centers located in Nashville for couple of hours each weekend for tutoring services given to Turkish children living in Nashville.
